Patricia Woodson

Executive Coach, Entrepreneur, Youth Program Development

To connect people and ideas is the thread in my life, as an early dot.com entrepreneur, city council member, consultant and executive coach. My passion throughout has been to innovate through collaboration. I was one of the early women tech entrepreneurs, starting the first online service for the buying and selling of professional stock photography; Photonet, which I ran as CEO for nine years before selling the company.

As a consultant and coach I encourage brainstorming and daring to envision new approaches. My background in positive psychology and business have come together in my coaching practice. Often I use mindfulness and practices to invite both clarity and new perspectives while planning and creating structures to realize a new project. I coach clients toward leadership which values and empowers each team member, creating a community where they and their co-workers can develop their talents, innovate, collaborate and grow.

Passionate about the power of grassroots advocacy, I have fostered coalitions for green infrastructure, parks and recreation resulting in playgrounds, parks and the first community center for the Village of Key Biscayne, FL. As longtime Chair of the Parks and Open Space Board for Key Biscayne, along with a dedicated citizen board, we are working to promote innovative thinking for parks that equally provide recreation for all ages, connection with nature and resilience to sea level rise.

My non-profit, Youth Lead Change and family foundation named after my mother, DICIE (Developing Innovation and Creativity in Education) provide opportunities for young people to learn about leadership, teamwork, self-care and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
